Raw Material Technician

Job overview

The Raw Material Technician role is onsite in Sturtevant, WI, in office and laboratory settings within a dry-blend food manufacturing facility. Compensation is $23–$29 per hour. The role supports Kerry’s Quality Assurance function and its work to create food, beverage, and pharmaceutical products. The role verifies that incoming raw materials meet specifications, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations before production use. Through inspection coordination, documentation review, disposition, and accurate records, the technician supports positive material release, traceability, and timely availability of approved materials.

What you'll do

• Carry out inspection, testing, and positive release activities for incoming raw materials
• review Certificates of Analysis, specifications, and supplier paperwork
• enter receipts, inspection results, clearances, and dispositions
• coordinate sampling, testing, and release across sites
• maintain lot, supplier, testing, and disposition records
• verify identification, labeling, and status
• communicate results and issues
• support holds, investigations, audits, complaints, and quality records
• report food safety or quality concerns
• support HACCP, allergen, environmental, regulatory, and customer requirements.
