What you'll do

• Join providers during patient visits and document encounters in the EHR
• capture histories, exam findings, assessments, plans, medications, orders, and referrals
• prepare draft documentation for provider review
• review schedules and locate prior records
• assist with routine EHR tasks and provider-directed orders and referrals within scope
• communicate with the care team
• protect patient confidentiality.
