The Mental Health Technician — Night Rotation role is onsite in Cleveland, OH, with pay of $18–$19 per hour. Bluestone Child & Adolescent Psychiatric Hospital provides psychiatric care for children ages 6–17 in a 12-bed facility. Under a registered nurse’s direction, the technician provides direct and indirect patient care and helps maintain a safe, clean, therapeutic environment. The role supports patient safety and treatment through observation, assistance with daily care, communication with the clinical team, and de-escalation when needed.

What you'll do

• Assist with admissions, patient routines, vital signs, and documentation
• communicate changes in patient condition to nursing and clinical staff
• supervise patients and conduct scheduled safety checks
• provide one-on-one observation for high-risk patients
• assist with activities of daily living and therapeutic groups
• use de-escalation techniques
• report unsafe conditions
• and support patient dignity and emotional well-being.
