Medical Receptionist, Pediatric Urgent Care

The Medical Receptionist role is onsite in Tulsa, OK, and pays $16 per hour. The part-time schedule is two weekdays per week from 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM, plus every other Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM. The receptionist supports a pediatric urgent care facility. What you'll do

• Greet patients, parents, and guardians
• complete check-in and registration
• update demographic and medical information
• verify insurance and collect payments
• answer and direct calls
• assist with scheduling and follow-up
• maintain records and forms
• communicate arrivals to clinical staff
• keep the front desk and waiting area organized
• protect patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA requirements
• assist with scanning, filing, faxing, and data entry.
