What you'll do

• Clean, stock, and prepare the clinical environment
• perform phlebotomy and prepare specimens for transport
• perform simple laboratory procedures
• take vital signs and prepare patients for procedures
• assist with patient flow and provide general clinical support
• answer phones and make appointments
• collect co-pays and payments
• assist with billing and add information to the electronic medical record.

Why this role

High school diploma or equivalent and six months of healthcare experience are required; one year of medical terminology experience, clinical pharmacology knowledge, and BLS certification are required. Medical Assistant certification or EMT certification is preferred.
