What you'll do

• Inspect, diagnose, and perform moderately complex repairs on assigned vehicles and equipment
• assess structural damage and identify repair methods
• inspect outside repairs
• conduct truck safety checks
• perform maintenance and preventive maintenance on shop equipment
• maintain records and communicate with the Lead Mechanic/Foreman and maintenance staff. Emergency service calls may be performed occasionally.
