DSP-1 Behavior Support Professional is an onsite, full-time role in Oceanside, CA. Pay is $25 per hour. TERI’s mission is to empower individuals with special needs and foster an integrated community. The professional provides person-centered behavioral support to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities who may exhibit severe challenging behaviors. The role implements behavior plans, supports safety and daily needs, and works with an interdisciplinary team to promote independence, community inclusion, and skill development.

What you'll do

• Implement individualized Behavior Intervention Plans and provide direct support
• respond to behavioral incidents using evidence-based antecedent and crisis intervention techniques
• document behavioral data, progress, and incidents
• promote independence, community inclusion, and skill development
• assist with daily living, medication administration, transportation, and community access
• collaborate with Behavior Specialists and interdisciplinary team members.
