The Caregiver role is onsite in Elkton, MD, providing in-home support. Pay is $16–$19 per hour. Visiting Angels of Harford & Cecil Counties is adding caregivers to its team to support clients in their homes. The caregiver follows each client’s care plan while assisting with personal care, mobility, medication self-administration, and household safety. The role also provides companionship, documents services, and communicates client or employee incidents to a supervisor.

What you'll do

• Follow individual client care plans
• assist with personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, feeding, and bedtime care
• assist with toileting and medication self-administration
• support exercise, ambulation, and transfers
• document care and services
• report incidents and accidents
• maintain a clean and safe environment
• provide respectful social interaction and respond to client requests
• participate in required in-service training.
