Job overview

The Director, Digital Assets Financial Operations role can be remote in the United States. Base compensation is $161,500–$218,500 per year, with a 25% annual bonus target paid quarterly and company equity in the form of restricted stock units. Figure is a blockchain-native capital marketplace for tokenized assets and related financial products. The director owns day-to-day financial operations for the digital asset business and builds processes and controls for institutional-standard operations. The role coordinates finance, accounting, treasury, capital markets, product, engineering, and external counterparties to support accurate transactions, reconciliations, reporting, and launches.

What you'll do

• Manage wallet and custody administration, transaction execution and approvals, settlement, and daily position monitoring
• reconcile on-chain activity through sub-ledger and general ledger, including exchange and custodian breaks
• define operational, accounting, and control requirements for product and token launches
• partner with Accounting on close, fair value, cost basis, and disclosures
• design and operate digital asset controls, including SOX, segregation of duties, and approval thresholds
• serve as finance contact for custodians, exchanges, and counterparties
• build reconciliation, reporting, and control automation with Engineering and Product
• report positions, flows, and exposures to senior management, the board, and auditors.
