What you'll do

• Follow manufacturing process plans, specifications, and procedures to assemble, align, and test optical interferometer products
• perform optical cementing and optic-to-optic and optic-to-metal assemblies
• use precision tooling and fixtures
• conduct in-process and final testing with optical equipment
• run test software and record data in Excel
• inspect and handle delicate optical components
• transport fixtures weighing up to 40 lbs.
