Procurement Specialist, Medical and Bioprocessing Products

The position secures materials and services for Instant Systems’ single-use medical and bioprocessing products. The role manages purchasing categories from sourcing and negotiation through purchase orders, delivery, and supplier performance. It works with Quality and other teams to maintain approved, controlled, audit-ready suppliers and reliable supply of regulated-product materials.

What you'll do

• Purchase direct materials and indirect goods and services
• convert MRP requirements and requisitions into purchase orders
• run RFQs and RFPs and assess bids
• expedite orders and resolve shortages
• resolve invoice and receiving discrepancies
• onboard and assess suppliers with Quality
• maintain supplier documentation and scorecards
• support audits and corrective actions
• negotiate pricing and supply terms
• manage supply agreements and cost-saving efforts
• identify sourcing risks and support second-source qualification
• maintain safety stock and ERP data
• coordinate import/export and freight documentation
• report purchasing activity and improve procedures.
