Resident Assistant

The Resident Assistant role is onsite in O’Fallon, IL. Compensation is $17 per hour. Working with the care team, the assistant monitors and reports observations, supports individualized care plans, and helps maintain a safe and welcoming community.

What you'll do

• Assist residents with grooming, hygiene, dressing, nutrition, and other personal care needs
• respond to signal lights, bells, or intercoms
• take and record vital signs and intake/output as directed
• transport or assist residents with walking, turning, and repositioning
• change linens, run errands, direct visitors, and answer phones
• assist with laundry, housekeeping, and meals
• encourage participation in activities
• report observations to the care team
• follow advance directives and infection-prevention protocols
• communicate with families and staff about resident care.
