The Director of Development and Community Engagement works in a hybrid arrangement in Irvine and the Orange County area. Pay is $130,000–$175,000 per year. The role is in Administration and supports two affiliated charitable foundations serving a Southern California respite care organization with approximately 5,700 clients. A&S Management’s mission includes person-centered care for families and individuals with developmental disabilities. The director leads fundraising, donor engagement, grant development, foundation operations, and community relations. The role builds partnerships and philanthropic support to strengthen the foundations and expand the organization’s regional impact.

What you'll do

• Develop multi-year fundraising strategies and annual objectives
• lead major gifts, annual and capital campaigns, grants, planned giving, and corporate partnerships
• cultivate and steward donors
• manage two affiliated foundations and support their boards
• oversee grant research, writing, submission, reporting, and compliance
• build community partnerships
• lead fundraising events
• manage and develop staff
• monitor fundraising performance and budgets.
