The Registered Nurse (RN), Oncology role is onsite in Quincy, MA, with the work location identified in the posting as Hyannis, MA. The schedule is a day shift, Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week, with listed start and end options of 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m., 7:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m., or 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.; occasional holidays are noted. Compensation is $70–$76 per hour. The role supports patients receiving curative and palliative oncology treatment. The RN provides comprehensive oncology nursing care, education, and support. The nurse assesses patient needs, develops and implements care plans, administers medications, coordinates with the interdisciplinary team, and maintains accurate records to support treatment and discharge planning.

What you'll do

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
• administer medications and monitor responses
• document physical, psychological, and social needs
• develop individualized care plans
• coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team
• provide oncology education and counseling for curative and palliative treatment
• educate and orient nursing staff and other personnel
• maintain patient records and discharge planning documentation
• serve as charge nurse and patient-care resource as needed
• follow hospital safety policies and participate in quality improvement and professional development.
