The HVAC Apprenticeship Training Program – Residential Service role is onsite in Olathe, KS. Pay is $15 per hour. One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning of Olathe offers an entry-level program to teach residential HVAC skills through classroom training, field shadowing, and ongoing paid training. The program prepares participants to begin a career as residential HVAC technicians. Apprentices learn through training and field experience while assisting with service, maintenance, and repairs and developing safe, professional work habits.

What you'll do

• Pick up parts from distributors
• participate in classroom training
• shadow technicians in the field
• service, maintain, and repair residential HVAC systems
• assess general system condition and troubleshoot malfunctions
• maintain a neat work area and check cleanliness after jobs
• demonstrate safety-conscious conduct on the job and while driving
• wear floor savers in clients’ homes
• maintain a clean company vehicle.
