The UPS Technician 4 role is onsite in Boston, MA, with compensation not specified. M.C. Dean’s Critical Power Group maintains and services uninterruptible power supply systems, batteries, and other critical infrastructure equipment. The technician inspects, tests, maintains, repairs, and certifies power electronics and related components to support reliable, available, and quality power. The role also provides technical assistance to customers and site personnel and helps sustain electrical-system maintainability.

What you'll do

• Perform preventive maintenance and equipment testing
• repair and replace batteries
• inspect, troubleshoot, and service UPS and related power systems
• use electrical test equipment
• coordinate on-site subcontractors as needed
• provide customer technical support
• document work and findings
• cross-train other UPS technicians as needed
• respond to emergency service calls. Daily travel and 24/7 emergency-call availability when on call are stated
• overnight travel may be required.
