Software Engineer III

The Software Engineer III role is onsite in Dahlgren, VA, with no telework indicated. Compensation is $130,000–$150,000 per year. The team provides IT services for systems engineering and information management systems supporting major Department of Defense programs; Zekiah’s mission includes developing and integrating communication and technology systems for warfighters. The engineer develops and maintains software for mission-critical operations, from analysis and design through testing and deployment. The role contributes to evolving customer systems by integrating technologies, improving existing software, and collaborating with a cross-functional team.

What you'll do

• Execute the software development life cycle from preliminary analysis through testing and deployment
• develop flowcharts, layouts, and documentation
• write testable code
• integrate software components
• develop verification plans and quality procedures
• document and maintain functionality
• troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade systems
• deploy programs and evaluate user feedback
