The role contributes to safe, coordinated perioperative care through direct nursing, operating-room support, and collaboration with physicians and other staff.

What you'll do

• Assess, prioritize, plan, implement, evaluate, and document patient care
• supervise and direct care in an operating room
• follow accepted practices and patient-rights requirements
• coordinate care and maintain accurate records
• perform circulating duties, prepare the operative area, maintain instrument counts, assist surgeons and other personnel, observe patient condition, administer and document medications, and accompany patients to PACU with handoff.
