The Children’s House Nap Room & After School Assistant role is onsite in Georgetown, TX, Monday–Friday, 11:30 AM–5:30 PM, for 30 hours per week. Compensation is not specified. The assistant supports Community Montessori School’s students ages 2–4 and its Montessori approach to independence, curiosity, structure, and meaningful relationships. The role exists to provide safe supervision and developmentally appropriate care during nap time and after-school programming. By supporting routines, transitions, activities, and classroom readiness, the assistant helps maintain positive student experiences and smooth daily operations alongside the After School Programs Coordinator and other staff.

What you'll do

• Supervise and support student safety and well-being during nap and after-school hours
• assist with transitions, routines, recess, and activities
• foster calm, respectful interactions
• maintain clean, organized, prepared classroom and after-school environments
• follow safety procedures and report concerns
• collaborate with staff
• attend required trainings, meetings, and school events.
