The Yoga Instructor (Winter Season) role is onsite in Truckee, CA, and pays $22 per hour plus a commission structure. This is a part-time seasonal position for Martis Camp’s Fitness Team, supporting its 2026–2027 winter season programming and member wellness experience. The instructor leads safe, inclusive yoga classes for members with varied abilities and fitness levels. Class preparation, individualized modifications, and member engagement help deliver the club’s wellness programming and hospitality standards.

What you'll do

• Lead yoga classes with appropriate modifications and progressions
• provide clear instruction and cueing
• integrate breathwork and mindfulness
• maintain a safe exercise environment and follow Fitness Center procedures
• prepare class plans, music, and equipment
• set up and break down studio spaces and clean equipment
• build relationships with members
• collaborate with the Fitness Director and Fitness Team on events and seasonal programming
• maintain required certifications.

Why this role

Requires a minimum 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training certification (RYT-200 or equivalent), availability for weekends, holidays, and peak winter periods, and age 18 or older. CPR and AED certification can be provided if not current.
