The Room Attendant role is onsite in Newark, CA, with shifts generally starting between 8:00 and 9:00 AM. Pay is $17.46–$18.50 per hour. Aloft Silicon Valley relies on housekeeping to keep guest rooms clean, orderly, and ready for guests. The role exists to prepare assigned rooms to hotel standards and support a safe, welcoming guest experience. The attendant cleans and replenishes rooms, responds courteously to guest requests, and reports safety or maintenance concerns.

What you'll do

• Clean and prepare assigned guest rooms to hotel standards, typically about 14 rooms per shift
• clean bathrooms and surfaces, make beds and change linens, dust and vacuum, replenish amenities and supplies, maintain the housekeeping cart, and dispose of trash and recyclables. Respond to guest requests, report suspicious activity, hazards, and maintenance issues, turn in found items, update room status, secure keys, and assist other attendants or the Houseperson when requested.
