The Class A Local Truck Driver is an onsite, full-time position in El Paso, TX, paying $16.25 per hour. El Pasoans Fighting Hunger is the region’s hunger-relief organization, distributing food through partner pantries and community programs. The driver helps ensure food reaches partner agencies and community distribution sites safely and on time. The role handles local deliveries and pickups, vehicle safety and care, shipment documentation, and coordination with dispatch and warehouse staff.

What you'll do

• Operate commercial vehicles for local deliveries and pickups
• deliver and unload food at partner agencies
• collect donated products
• follow assigned routes and communicate with dispatch
• inspect and maintain vehicles
• secure loads
• comply with USDOT, FMCSA, and TxDOT requirements
• maintain delivery paperwork and collaborate with warehouse staff.

Why this role

The schedule starts at 6:00 AM and usually ends between 2:00 and 3:00 PM. Work alternates between Monday–Friday and Monday–Saturday weeks, with one midweek day off during the Saturday-work week.
