Job overview

The Caregiver — Personal Care role provides onsite, in-home care across Westside Cuyahoga County and surrounding communities; pay is $16–$21 per hour. BrightStar Care provides home-care services to help clients maintain independence, dignity, and quality of life. Caregivers assist clients with daily living and household needs while following individualized care plans. The role also provides companionship, observes changes in condition, and communicates relevant updates to the care team.

What you'll do

• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene
• support mobility, transfers, and ambulation
• prepare meals and provide medication reminders
• perform light housekeeping and laundry
• provide companionship
• accompany clients to appointments or community activities when needed
• observe and report changes
• follow care plans and agency protocols.
