The Information Systems Security Officer is a full-time, onsite position in Arlington, VA. The listed salary range is $114,133–$171,200 per year. Through security documentation, assessments, monitoring, incident support, and coordination with program stakeholders, the role helps protect systems and data and support system authorization.

What you'll do

• Maintain compliance with information security policies and DoD regulations
• maintain security plans, control traceability matrices, risk assessment and security control assessment reports, and authorization documentation
• support classified and CUI network assessments
• troubleshoot accounts and network issues, perform backups, and assist with assured file transfers
• identify vulnerabilities and recommend or implement countermeasures
• develop RMF packages and POA&Ms
• review audit logs
• conduct cyber awareness training and security audits
• keep system documentation current
• coordinate with stakeholders and support incident response.
