Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), PM or NOC Shift

The Certified Nursing Assistant role is onsite in Des Plaines, IL. Compensation is $19–$25.50 per hour. The CNA supports residents at Alden Des Plaines Rehabilitation and Health Care Center by providing daily nursing care under facility standards and direction from nursing leadership. The role helps maintain residents’ comfort, safety, and quality of care through assistance with daily living, observation, documentation, and communication with nursing staff. The posting is seeking PM shift staff from 2 PM to 10 PM and NOC shift staff from 10 PM to 6 AM.

What you'll do

• Provide assistance with activities of daily living
• follow nursing procedures and protocols
• assist with resident care plans and rounds
• report concerns and changes in condition
• record intake and output and vital signs as needed
• monitor skin condition
• assist with meals, hydration, beds, and room organization
• answer call lights
• support resident safety and comfort
• maintain required records.

Why this role

PM shift is 2 PM–10 PM; NOC shift is 10 PM–6 AM. Requires completion of an approved nursing assistant training program and competency evaluation, high school diploma or GED, and current CPR certification or certification within two weeks of employment.
