Multifamily Project Manager

Job overview

The Multifamily Project Manager role is onsite in San Jose, CA. Compensation is $150,000–$200,000 per year. The position oversees ground-up multifamily and mixed-use construction projects. The manager coordinates budgets, schedules, contracts, subcontractors, procurement, and client relationships from preconstruction through closeout. The role helps ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality and contractual requirements.

What you'll do

• Manage multifamily construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
• oversee budgets, schedules, cost controls, and financial reporting
• coordinate with superintendents, project engineers, subcontractors, architects, and owners
• manage bidding, procurement, contract negotiations, and buyout
• review drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and change orders
• monitor costs, forecasts, billing, and profitability
• manage schedules and procurement plans
• identify risks and schedule impacts
• coordinate project scopes
• lead meetings
• oversee performance, deliveries, documentation, inspections, punch lists, and closeout
• mentor assistant project managers and project engineers.
