Direct Support Professional — RISE Day Program is an onsite role in Bristol, CT, scheduled Monday through Friday from 8:45 AM to 3:15 PM for 32.5 hours. The stated pay is $19.15–$19.65 per hour. Bristol Adult Resource Center supports adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities through residential, vocational, recreation, and day support services. The Direct Support Professional helps participants pursue personal growth and daily goals through personal care, community activities, transportation, and medication support. The role promotes independence, dignity, safety, and participation in the RISE program.

What you'll do

• Support individuals’ learning, independence, goals, and plans
• transport individuals to and from programs and activities
• administer medications and treatments according to guidelines and document accurately
• provide a safe and nurturing environment that protects individuals’ rights and dignity
• record daily activities electronically while maintaining confidentiality
• obtain and maintain required certifications and training.
