The Kennel Assistant – Evening Shift role is onsite in El Sobrante, CA, with pay of $20–$25 per hour. Advanced Veterinary Medical Center is a multi-doctor veterinary hospital open seven days a week, providing medical care and compassionate service to patients and clients. The assistant helps maintain a clean, safe, comfortable hospital environment and supports doctors and technicians with daily patient care and operations. The work includes animal handling, feeding, cleaning and sanitizing, monitoring hospitalized pets, and assisting with anesthesia monitoring when needed.

What you'll do

• Assist doctors and technicians with hospital tasks and animal handling
• clean and sanitize kennels, runs, treatment areas, exam rooms, and surgery areas
• provide bedding, water, and litter pans
• feed hospitalized pets and assist with medications as directed
• wash and sanitize dishes, laundry, towels, gowns, and equipment
• monitor hospitalized pets and report changes
• restock supplies
• assist with anesthesia monitoring when needed.
