Physician — Wound Care & Dermatology

Job overview

The Physician — Wound Care & Dermatology role is onsite in Detroit, MI, with local travel between clinic locations as needed. Compensation is $1,200 per visit. The physician supports outpatient PACE clinics and coordinated senior-care settings serving older adults. The physician provides wound and dermatologic assessment, treatment, procedures, and follow-up for medically complex patients. The role contributes to coordinated care by collaborating with nursing staff, primary care providers, and interdisciplinary teams, while educating caregivers and facility staff and maintaining timely medical records.

What you'll do

• Assess wounds and skin conditions
• develop and manage evidence-based treatment plans
• provide wound care and follow-up
• perform procedures within scope, including debridement, compression therapy, dressing applications, negative-pressure wound therapy, and skin substitute applications
• perform appropriate dermatologic procedures
• collaborate with care teams
• educate caregivers and facility staff
• document in the EMR
• travel locally between clinic locations as needed.
