Senior Critical Facilities Technician

Compensation is $0 per year. The Senior Critical Facilities Technician position is onsite in Cheyenne, WY, supporting a data center’s facilities team. The role supports EverOn Data Center Services’ data center operations and infrastructure reliability. The senior technician provides hands-on technical leadership to maintain critical and non-critical systems, support availability, and reduce operational risk. The role also develops junior technicians and helps improve maintenance processes, documentation, and operating standards.

What you'll do

• Operate and maintain critical and non-critical data center infrastructure
• assist facility managers in leading the technician team toward total availability
• monitor power, cooling capacity, and environmental conditions
• maintain mechanical and electrical systems including power distribution, emergency power, HVAC, heat rejection, fire alarms, and suppression
• support preventive maintenance, corrective work, troubleshooting, and issue resolution
• train staff on CMMS
• review work orders and equipment records
• support operating procedures, quality reviews, change control, contractor access, facility rounds, shift turnover, supplies, construction oversight, commissioning, and new customer service provisioning
• work shifts supporting 24x7 operations.

Why this role

Level I training must be completed within 30 days of employment and Level II within 60 days. High school degree required; prior military or technical school training and electrical or mechanical licensure preferred; three or more years in mission-critical environments preferred.
