Part-Time Maintenance Assistant

The Part-Time Maintenance Assistant role is onsite in Danvers, MA, for three days per week with a flexible schedule. Compensation is $20–$25 per hour based on experience and qualifications. The role supports Twin Oaks Rehab & Nursing Center’s maintenance and plant operations. Working under the Director of Maintenance, the assistant helps maintain a safe, functional, and comfortable facility for residents, staff, and visitors. Duties include preventive maintenance, routine repairs, inspections, work orders, and support for regulatory and life-safety readiness.

What you'll do

• Assist with daily maintenance and plant operations
• perform authorized routine repairs
• complete and document preventive maintenance
• respond to work orders and requests
• inspect rooms, common areas, mechanical spaces, and exterior areas
• maintain equipment and building systems
• support facility inspections and regulatory readiness
• keep tools and work areas organized
• report unsafe conditions and equipment failures.
