The Behavior Interventionist 1:1 role is an onsite position located in Jonesville, VT, with a pay range of $23 - $28 per hour. This role supports the Special Education team at ChanceLight Behavioral Health, Therapy, & Education, an organization dedicated to providing alternative education programs for children and young adults. This role exists to provide direct, individualized behavioral support and intervention to students in grades K-8. The Behavior Interventionist works to increase positive student behaviors, implement proactive strategies, and respond to crisis situations to ensure a safe and effective learning environment.

What you'll do

• Implement targeted individual and group interventions to enhance student outcomes.
• Reinforce positive behavior and model effective strategies for staff.
• Maintain accurate records of student behavior strategies and intervention plans.
• Collect and analyze behavioral data to monitor progress.
• Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation support using CPI strategies.
• Collaborate with IEP teams and classroom staff to support instructional activities.
