The Prep Cook role is onsite in Riverton, UT, with training at the Riverton location before transition to the new Herriman location. Pay is $15–$17 per hour. Murphy’s Cafe 126 is opening a new Herriman location and serves cheesesteaks and other menu items. The prep cook prepares ingredients and recipes, maintains food rotation and storage, and keeps prep areas and equipment clean. This work helps the kitchen maintain readiness, consistency, and speed during service.

What you'll do

• Slice, chop, measure, and portion ingredients
• prepare sauces and toppings according to recipes
• label, date, and store food using FIFO procedures
• clean and sanitize prep areas, utensils, and equipment
• assist line cooks and other team members
• monitor prep levels
• and communicate with the team before service periods.
