The Solar Field Operator III role is onsite in Spring, TX, with a 14-days-on / 14-days-off rotation. Compensation is $55.30 per hour. SunStrong Management specializes in managing and servicing residential and commercial solar energy portfolios, supporting clean energy asset performance. The operator monitors and maintains wells and equipment, supports the GHG desk’s monitoring of facilities for gas and liquid leaks, and leads service crews. The role contributes to safe, reliable operations through surveillance, troubleshooting, maintenance coordination, and accurate shift reporting.

What you'll do

• Operate equipment and wells according to operating and safety procedures
• diagnose solar system issues, including inverter failures and underperformance
• lead service crews and support Tech 1 and Tech 2 team members
• perform routine equipment care and simple maintenance
• coordinate and monitor maintenance jobs
• record operational events and deviations
• take product samples and perform field laboratory tests
• participate in emergency response activities.
