What you'll do

• Obtain vital signs, weight, and medical history
• assist with examinations and procedures
• administer injections and collect specimens
• reconcile medication lists and document information in the EHR
• provide provider-directed patient education
• coordinate with dialysis centers and hospitals
• maintain examination rooms and infection-control practices
• schedule appointments and tests
• verify insurance and assist with prior authorizations
• manage calls and refill requests
• track lab results and maintain patient records.
