The Safe & Sound Infant Assistant Teacher role is onsite in Columbus, OH, with pay of $21.50 per hour. The position supports the lead teacher and children in the Safe & Sound program. The role helps foster children’s learning and development by assisting with age-appropriate activities, supervision, classroom routines, and a safe, supportive environment. It also supports communication with families and coordination with the teaching team.

What you'll do

• Assist the lead teacher in planning and implementing age-appropriate activities and preparing lesson materials.
• Supervise and engage children, provide individual or small-group support, maintain a clean and safe classroom, support meals and nap times, help manage behavior positively, and communicate with parents and caregivers about children’s progress and well-being.

Why this role
