What you'll do

• Perform ultrasonic diagnostic procedures according to accepted protocols and physician direction
• instruct patients about procedures
• follow equipment safety standards
• obtain requested diagnostic images
• maintain ultrasound and vascular lab equipment
• use the PACS system to archive studies and generate preliminary reports
• maintain examination areas and supplies
• complete pre-authorizations and medical-necessity verifications
• train new employees.
