- monitor equipment, feed systems, maintenance, budgets, payroll, supplies, and production reports
- maintain records and place farm orders
- care for, treat, breed, process, move, and wean animals
- clean facilities
- follow biosecurity and animal-welfare procedures
- maintain PQA+ certification.
