The Anesthesiology Physician role is based onsite across Cooperstown, Oneonta, Cobleskill, and Little Falls, NY, with flexibility for anesthesiologists living in Albany, Binghamton, Utica, or Syracuse. Compensation is a $600,000 base salary; the posting also lists a sign-on bonus up to $200,000 and a residency/fellowship stipend up to $60,000. The physician joins Bassett Healthcare Network’s academic health system and collaborative anesthesia team. The physician provides full-spectrum anesthesia services to a diverse patient population, working in a medical direction model with physicians and certified registered nurse anesthetists. The role also offers opportunities to teach students and residents while supporting safe, high-quality care across the network.

What you'll do

• Provide full-spectrum anesthesia services
• collaborate with a team of 13 physicians and 25 CRNAs in a medical direction model, with opportunities for solo cases
• participate in a call schedule of three to four times per month with a post-call day off and nocturnist support
• teach SRNAs, medical students, and residents as opportunities arise.
