Sterile Processing Technician II

The Sterile Processing Technician II role is onsite in Fresno, CA. Compensation is $25.12–$31.97 per hour. The position supports surgical and clinical services at Fresno Heart and Surgical Hospital. The technician helps protect patient safety and support smooth hospital operations by ensuring instruments and supplies are cleaned, inspected, assembled, and sterilized for use. The role also supports organized sterile storage and adherence to departmental and OSHA guidelines.

What you'll do

• Decontaminate instruments using approved manual and mechanical methods
• prepare trays and packs
• perform sterilization procedures
• maintain organized storage
• monitor supplies for defects or expiration
• report issues to leadership
• and provide operational guidance to peers when management staff is unavailable. Required qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and either CRCST certification from HSPA or CSPDT certification from CBSPD.
