The Director of Accounting, Care Delivery role is in office with a hybrid option in Alhambra, CA. The national target pay range is $160,000–$200,000 per year. The role leads accounting for Astrana Health’s Care Delivery segment, which includes clinics, ancillary providers, post-acute and inpatient services, and a wholly owned hospital. The director owns segment accounting, reporting, controls, and close processes while partnering with finance, operations, revenue cycle, technical accounting, and audit teams. The role supports reliable financial reporting and scalable processes across a growing, multi-entity healthcare segment, including acquired entities and intercompany activity.

What you'll do

• Lead the Care Delivery segment’s general ledger, chart of accounts, monthly close, balance sheet substantiation, and period-end reporting
• oversee revenue recognition and estimates
• own intercompany and intersegment accounting and consolidation eliminations
• oversee hospital accounting
• support consolidation assessments and impairment testing
• manage lease accounting
• lead and develop the accounting team
• design and maintain SOX 404 controls and remediation
• standardize and accelerate close processes
• integrate acquired entities
• reconcile revenue-cycle activity and patient accounts receivable
• prepare and review financial statements and variance analysis
• coordinate with external auditors, internal audit, and regulatory bodies
• identify automation and efficiency opportunities.

Why this role
