The Manufacturing Technician I — 6:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m. Shift role is onsite, initially in Fremont, CA for six to eight months and then in Livermore, CA. Pay is $27–$29 per hour. Velo3D develops 3D printers that produce complex metal parts. The technician builds and tests system components for research and development and manufacturing teams. The role supports reliable equipment performance through precise assembly, testing, inspection, recordkeeping, and coordination with engineering and manufacturing colleagues.

What you'll do

• Assemble system components
• test performance using metrology equipment
• inspect materials and parts for defects
• maintain testing records and component inventory
• communicate problems and improvement suggestions
• coordinate with manufacturing and shipping
• develop skills to operate systems and support system bring-up.
