What you'll do

• Analyze patient charts and assign diagnosis, treatment, and procedure codes
• review claims for coding, legal, insurance, and authorization requirements
• evaluate and re-file denied-claim appeals
• verify patient allocation
• void duplicate or erroneous charges
• identify and report error patterns
• request missing orders or documentation clarification
• support timely electronic claim submission
• enter payments and adjustments in the accounts receivable system
• clarify chart information with providers
• and comply with HIPAA and applicable policies.
