Job overview
The Maintenance Mechanic role is onsite in Saint Paul, MN, supporting SCHWING America’s manufacturing facility. Compensation is $30–$35 per hour. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.; the role also participates in a 24-hour on-call rotation. The mechanic maintains production equipment and facility systems to help keep manufacturing operations safe, productive, and efficient. The work spans electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, as well as facility and mobile equipment.
What you'll do
- Troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on production equipment and facility systems
- maintain electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- service HVAC, vehicles, forklifts, cranes, and other equipment
- participate in the 24-hour on-call rotation
- read blueprints and schematics
- complete facility projects, inspections, repairs, and maintenance documentation
- support hazardous-waste procedures.
