Mobile Radiologic Technologist, East Bay Area

Job overview

The Mobile Radiologic Technologist role is onsite across Alameda and Contra Costa counties in California, with compensation of $40–$50 per hour. The position provides mobile X-ray and EKG services to healthcare facilities in the East Bay Area. The technologist performs physician-ordered imaging and, when required, EKGs, while managing portable equipment and related documentation. The work supports timely diagnostic services and communication with radiologists, cardiologists, dispatch, management, and client facilities.

What you'll do

• Conduct and process X-rays using portable digital or computed radiography equipment
• transport and manage portable X-ray equipment for physician-ordered examinations
• perform EKGs when necessary and transmit results to a cardiologist as required
• scan and submit exam paperwork and billing documents daily
• communicate with dispatch and management
• maintain professional interactions with colleagues, supervisors, and clients
• maintain the assigned vehicle and X-ray apparatus.
