Specimen Collector

Job overview

The Specimen Collector role is onsite in Everett, WA, with a part-time Monday–Friday schedule from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Pay is $18–$21.75 per hour. Millennium Health is a specialty laboratory providing medication monitoring and drug testing services to support clinical decision-making. The collector gathers and processes patient specimens, records and resolves order information, and serves as a service link between clinics and the laboratory. Observed collections are performed when applicable; driving between facilities may be required.

What you'll do

• Collect urine and/or oral-fluid specimens
• process and package collections for shipping
• serve as an intermediary between practices or clinics and the laboratory
• record patient, physician-order, and laboratory information
• resolve specimen concerns involving billing or patient information in the ordering portal
• maintain onsite collection supplies
• observe collections when applicable
• drive between facilities if required.
