Surgical Support Aide — Case Cart Preparation, Night Shift

The Surgical Support Aide works onsite in Minneapolis, MN, on a 13-week assignment with three 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, totaling 36 hours per week. Pay is $28–$31 per hour. The role supports surgical case readiness and coordinates with Materials Management/Supply staff and surgical staff. The aide prepares and verifies case carts, tracks instruments and trays, retrieves supplies, and organizes carts according to procedure requirements and surgery schedules. This work helps ensure surgical teams have complete, accurate supplies ready on time.

What you'll do

• Prepare case carts with required instruments, trays, supplies, and materials
• review pick lists and verify carts
• scan instruments and trays for tracking and inventory records
• retrieve stored items
• organize carts by surgery schedule and procedure requirements
• coordinate with Materials Management/Supply staff
• follow tracking, inventory, scanning, infection-control, and department procedures
• prioritize cases and work with supervisors and surgical staff to ensure carts are ready on time.
