Special Education Learning Coach

The Special Education Learning Coach role is onsite in El Dorado Hills, CA, and pays $22–$24 per hour. The current schedule is four 10-hour shifts, with shift times dependent on agency needs. The coach supports special education students in classroom and residential settings at Summitview Child & Family Services. Working under the Learning Coach Supervisor, the coach assists the teacher of record with instruction, student supervision, behavior support, documentation, and transitions between residence and classroom. The role contributes to students’ safety, learning, and continuity of support.

What you'll do

• Provide one-to-one or small-group instruction consistent with lesson plans
• support classroom behavior management and student supervision
• prepare and care for instructional materials
• assist with attendance, inventory, and supplies
• participate in student outings
• transport students between residential facilities and school on weekday mornings
• provide supervision and lessons at residential facilities when needed
• communicate with residential and management staff
• upload daily progress notes
• transport and record medications in compliance with standards
• open the assigned youth residence and support transitions.
