What you'll do

• Recruit, hire, train, and develop staff
• create a welcoming atmosphere and ensure customer service standards
• schedule staff and ensure shifts are covered
• coach and hold direct reports accountable
• process employee payroll and address employee concerns
• manage disciplinary and termination activities
• support front-desk operations, member check-in, sign-ups, tours, and member requests
• oversee opening and closing, cleanliness, maintenance, and safety
• communicate equipment repairs
• support marketing promotions
• authorize expenditures and refunds
• make daily bank deposits
• prepare HR forms
• track statistics and reports
• provide backup support for absent employees.
