The Veterinary Technician (LVT), Internal Medicine role is onsite in Knoxville, TN; compensation is $22–$28 per hour. The position supports the Internal Medicine department and works with board-certified specialists, emergency, and ICU teams at Animal Emergency & Specialty Center of Knoxville. The technician contributes to advanced diagnostics and treatment for complex cases by supporting procedures, monitoring hospitalized and critical-care patients, assisting with anesthesia, administering treatments, and maintaining accurate records and continuity of care.

What you'll do

• Support advanced diagnostic procedures, including ultrasound-guided sampling, endoscopy, cystoscopy, bronchoscopy, and bone marrow aspirates
• collect and manage laboratory samples
• operate and troubleshoot diagnostic equipment
• monitor hospitalized and critical-care patients
• support anesthesia induction, maintenance, and recovery
• administer medications, IV fluids, and treatments
• assist with client education and case updates
• document medical records
• collaborate with Internal Medicine, ER, and ICU teams.

Why this role
